是的! You will receive additional information about what all we need you to do prior to attending your scheduled 取向 session. During your 取向 session, we will have sessions just for students and their orientation student leaders. You will be able to connect with students from your academic college as well as other incoming students.

It is recommended that you wear comfortable shoes and casual clothes (it is normally hot in Jackson during the summer months!). We also recommend that you bring a raincoat and/or umbrella if the forecast calls for rain. Students and guests should bring money for meals, snacks and shopping in the campus store.

In order for accommodations to be made, please be sure to contact disability services at 601-979-3704 or email them at adaservices@9-999.net.  The 取向 team will work with Disability Services to provide assistance during the event.

New 学生辅导 (NSO) is a mandatory program for all newly admitted students that will prepare them for their first year of college. 在太阳, we will cover topics that will help you prepare for and successfully navigate your first year at 大阳城集团99aa. 是的. If you miss a session, you will miss something important! It is mandatory that students complete NSO (New 学生辅导) in its entirety. You are here to learn about your first year at JSU and to ensure a smooth transition into the University.

The NSO (New 学生辅导) fee covers all expenses for the orientation program. You will receive meals, a registration swag packet and a JSU T-Shirt. It is required that all students complete the new student orientation program. 国家统计局的费用不予退还.

No. While you can visit the University Academic Advisement Center once you come to campus, you will be registered for classes after you complete New 学生辅导. 也, remember that orientation provides you with a lot more information than just scheduling classes.
