迈阿密本地人, 佛罗里达, 洛厄尔霍林格 earned two degrees from 杰克逊 State University, 杰克逊, Mississippi: the Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and the Bachelor of Music Degree in Performance. He also earned the Master of Music degree in Clarinet Performance from 路易斯安那州 State University, 巴吞鲁日, 路易斯安那州. 目前, he is in the final stages of completing his Ph.D. program at the University of Southern Mississippi, Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Hollinger studied clarinet with Dr. Justin O’Dell former Assistant Professor of clarinet at Michigan State University; the former principal clarinetist of the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra Jim Moritsugu; Dr. 迈克尔·马格鲁德, 临时的椅子, Professor of Music, and Director of Bands at Winston-Salem State University; and Jerry Simas of the New World Symphony Orchestra.

Mr. Hollinger began a career as a musician in the sixth grade playing the bassoon. During his freshman year of High School, he began to study the clarinet to challenge himself musically and has not looked back since. Mr. Hollinger has performed with Orchestras such as the New World Symphony Orchestra and the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra. He has performed solo literature with the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra, the 杰克逊 State University Symphony Orchestra, the Delta State University’s Clarinet Symposium, and Winston-Salem State University. 目前, Hollinger is 2nd clarinetist with the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra and principal of the Mississippi Wind Symphony.

Mr. Hollinger is Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Wind Ensemble. 作为导体

2016 Historically Black Colleges and Universities National Band Directors Consortium in Atlanta, GA
好评如潮. Additionally, he regularly serves as a guest conductor and clinician. 2012年4月,
Mr. Hollinger secured a $500,000 endowment for the 杰克逊 State University band program which
was named in honor of Dr. 刘易斯·里德尔先生. As former Director of Bands at 杰克逊 State
University; Dr. Liddell was a very influential figure in Mr. 霍林格的生活. The endowment will
provide additional scholarships for band students and serve as a budgetary supplement.

Mr. 洛厄尔霍林格 is married to Jasmine C. 霍林格,M.D., is a member of New Horizon
Church 国际, 杰克逊, Mississippi, and has a beautiful daughter named Kynzie Emeri
Hollinger who is the joy of his life.
